Tips To Improve Memory

Assalamualaikum and hye earthlings! I am super duper happy right now because today I will get my result for SPM..yeayyy!!! Therefore, I decided to share some tips that I  used to improve my memory. Even though these tips are just normal tips but I'm glad that I could share it with you guys and honestly, it really worked!

Now, let's get started!

1. Understand what you are repeating.

Honestly, if you do not understand what is the topic tells you about, how are you going to remember anything about it, right?

2. Revise in small amount but do it REGULARLY.

Yeah, you see the upper case letters. If you do it often, you'll find it easier to remember because it is a short sentences, it does not contain anything big for you so you can remember it fast and quick if you do it everyday. The next day, you'll find that it would be hard for the information to get out of your head!

3. Say aloud what you need to remember.

This really helps you a lot. If you say it out loud, you have actually block the other sound which made you easier to remember because the information that you spell out has enter your ear and your mind will focus on the information.

4. Repeat the information over and over again.

This point is just the same as point number two.

5. Talk about the topic with others.

If you tell your friend about the topic, then you will remember it faster than ever. This is my favourite way because after that, I found myself kept remembering the info and my mind kept recalling the moment I share it with my friend.

6. Be positive.

Tell yourself that you can do it. No, you can absolutely do more than that. Hehe, just be optimist. Positive mind leads to a better result.

7. Repeat the whole topic.

When you have done remembering the information little by little, put it out together and repeat it as one. As a whole chapter to find out the result. If you can remember the topic good enough, then you have succeed! But if you still not remember some of it, then don't worry. Just repeat it again and do not give up. Never!

8. Study in a quiet environment.

Okay, this one actually depends on you. Whether you prefer the library or at the park. Wherever you are studying, just make sure to keep the distractions very very very minimum.

9. Revise different topics, one after another and take a short rest.

Okay, this one is two in one. before you start the other topic, make sure you take some rest about 15 to 20 minutes. This is important so that your brain would not feel very tired. Remember, your brain needs rest too just like you. Next, you should revise different topics so that you will actually store some of the information in every topic. By doing this too, you actually help your brain to store different information at  a time and this will lessen the tiredness of the brain as you put in new information, not the same one!

10. As soon as you wake up, recall the topic.

This is the most important thing. You should do this before you go to bed and after you wake up. This is crucial because you practically train your brain and your mind to put the most important things first. Meaning, the information that you are trying to remember will become the priority in your mind. If you think of a keyword about the information, your brain will quickly get your mind to the information that you are remembering. Awesome, right?

Whatever it is, you have to put an effort to do something whether it is studying, cooking, drawing, and more.
